The Palm Jebel Ali

The Palm Jebel Ali is an artificial archipelago in Dubai, UAE. Construction began in October 2002, with an initial completion target of mid-2008, but the project has been on hold since then. It was relaunched in 2024. The development, which is 50% larger than Palm Jumeirah, is planned to feature six marinas, a water theme park, a 'Sea Village', homes on stilts above the water, and boardwalks circling the fronds of the palm, which will spell out an Arabic poem by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
